Seed Soaking;
Germinating is one of the slower parts of the seeding process.
Soaking seeds in Bio-Sustain solution speeds up the germination process and achieves higher germination rates and crop yields.
Soaking seeds prior to planting, helps the EM (effective microorganisms) and water solution to soften and penetrate the seed coat. Water penetration is essential, to awakening the seed germ inside, and causing it to sprout.
In general, seeds with hard seed coats, larger seeds, and slow to sprout seeds, will benefit the most by seed soaking.
Note: Water penetration is one essential ingredient to begin the seed sprouting process. The other is warmth. Once the seed has sprouted, other factors are important, among them air, light and nutrients.
Place the grass seed in a porous material. Use a cheesecloth or burlap sack. Tie at the top to form a bag. Place this sack with seed in a covered container. A fish tank works well for this.
